Terms of Service

These Terms form an agreement between you and Sandris Raivis Miglinieks for use of the PointNode website, account portal, support service, and mobile application (the “Service”). By using the Service or starting a trial, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. What PointNode provides

PointNode provides sound-based water-ejection routines, stepped frequency sequences for loose dust or sand near the speaker grille, guided speaker checks, and eligible care history.

PointNode is not a hardware repair or waterproofing service. Results depend on the phone model, the kind and amount of material present, existing damage, volume, positioning, and user technique. The Service does not guarantee that a routine will restore a speaker.

2. Authorized and responsible use

You may use the Service only on devices you own or are authorized to maintain. Follow the device manufacturer's safety guidance and disconnect cables before running a routine when instructed.

Before every audio routine, turn off Silent Mode and confirm that media volume is audible but moderate. Do not use PointNode at unsafe volume, with medical hearing devices, on visibly damaged or overheating hardware, or where a manufacturer recommends powering the device off. Seek authorized service when damage persists.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your credentials, and notifying us about suspected unauthorized access. Website credentials are stored securely by PointNode and are used to access your Full Access account.

4. Free and Full Access

Free includes the browser tools presented on the website without a subscription. PointNode Full Access provides the additional features presented on the access page, subject to compatible hardware, reasonable technical limits, and future product updates.

A website trial is free for the period displayed before checkout. Unless you cancel before it ends, the trial becomes a recurring paid subscription at the exact price, currency, and interval shown before you confirm. Taxes may apply. There is no separate charge for starting the free trial.

5. Renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Website subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. To cancel a website trial or subscription, use the public Cancel subscription page with the email used at checkout and the last four digits of the payment card. No website account or password is required. If the details cannot be matched, use the Help Centre.

Website cancellation is processed immediately, stops future renewals, and may end the connected Full Access entitlement as soon as the cancellation is synchronized. Refund eligibility depends on applicable law, the purchase channel, and the circumstances. App Store purchases must be managed through Apple. See the Cancellation Policy for complete instructions.

6. Payments and access

Payment details are handled by the payment provider. We may receive status and transaction information needed to activate access, prevent duplicate trials, resolve failed payments, handle disputes, and maintain records. We may suspend Full Access when a payment fails, a subscription ends, or use violates these Terms.

7. Availability and changes

We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device, speaker design, operating-system version, or kind of contamination. Material subscription changes will be communicated as required by law.

8. Third-party services

The Service may rely on app stores, payment providers, hosting, email, account infrastructure, analytics, and network services. Those services are governed by their own terms and may experience interruptions outside our control.

9. Intellectual property

PointNode, its design, software, content, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape, circumvent access controls, or use the Service to build a competing product except where law expressly permits.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties not expressly stated here. You remain responsible for decisions, communications, and actions taken after reviewing a result.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss arising from excessive volume, delayed professional repair, device incompatibility, third-party services, or service interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these Terms when the Service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
